Project South Africa

Building a Community House
for 150 Children

A place to read, learn and grow

In the largest townships of South Africa, many children grow up with limited opportunities. Townships are informal settlements where poverty, overcrowding and lack of facilities shape daily life. For many children, one simple dream is out of reach: a safe place where they can learn and develop their talents.

We met children who love reading, who want to study and build a future, but who simply do not have a place to do so.

That is why we are building something that lasts.

What we are building

The Make A Kid Happy Community House

With this Community House, we will create a permanent, safe space for 150 children. A place where they can come after school to read, do homework, discover their talents and grow in a positive environment.

The Community House will include:

  • A reading and study corner (books, desks, chairs)

  • Educational activities and workshops

  • Talent development programs (creative, sports, mentoring)

  • A safe and welcoming space where children feel seen and supporte

FUND KIDS
THEIR FUTURE

Our goal: €20,000

We are raising €20,000 to build and launch the Community House.

With your support, we will:

  • buy a container house

  • furnish the space (tables, chairs, bookshelves)

  • provide educational materials and books

  • make the space safe and child-friendly

  • launch the first educational and development programs

Stories from the field

Our colleague Luca travelled to South Africa to document the situation on the ground. He met the children, spoke with local partners and captured their stories on camera.
