From Inspection Trip to Action
Recently, Make A Kid Happy travelled to Morocco on an inspection trip to visit several orphanages and protection homes. What we witnessed in a girls’ shelter in Tangier touched us deeply. Here live girls under the age of 18, many of them with traumatic experiences, limited resources, and very few moments where they can simply be… children.
We have already supported urgent needs such as safety and sanitation.
Now, we want to go one step further: from survival to dignity, happiness and hope.

During a 4-week donation period, we aim to raise €5,000 to support these girls with three key pillars:

A beautiful day outside the shelter filled with love, joy, activities, care, and empowerment. A moment where they can laugh, breathe, and feel seen again.
🎒 Goodybags & Educational Support
Sportswear, personal care essentials, hygiene products, confidence-boosting items, and educational materials to support growth, identity and wellbeing.
🏡 Improving Their Living Environment
Helping make their shelter safer, warmer and more “girly” — a place that feels like a home, not an institution.
