Girls with dreams
Recently Make A Kid Happy travelled to Morocco on an inspection trip to visit several orphanages and protection homes. What we witnessed in a girls' shelter in Tangier touched us deeply.
From inspection trip to action
Very few moments where they can simply be children.
In the shelter live girls under the age of eighteen. Many of them carry traumatic experiences, have limited resources, and rarely get a moment to just be a kid.
Our response is a holistic one: a day of joy outside the shelter, the practical things they need to feel like themselves, a living environment that feels like a home rather than an institution, and the kind of attention that tells a girl she is worth it.
We are now raising €5,000 to move from urgent support toward dignity, joy and long-term empowerment.

Our signature MAKH Day brings the house to life. A day where girls experience what it feels like to be celebrated, through activities, games, shared meals and unforgettable moments of happiness. Because this project is about more than infrastructure. It is about the feeling of belonging.
